Fat Sams would like to welcome back our favourite students and hope that you all had a fantastic Spring break and are re-energised for another semester of fun and alcofrolics. We have revamped our Friday nights and added some awesome drinks promotions to catapult you back into the world of dancing, drinking and social intercourse!

Promotions and Discounts

Fat Sams continues to open 7 nights a week with 3 levels of clubbing and a wide range of drinks promotions that’s sure to hit the spot! Show your student ID at the cash desks to gain discounted entry before midnight each night of the week.

Fat Sams Minibus

Hitch a FREE lift on the Fat Sams Minibus- call 07749 803731 after 10pm on the night or 01382 228181 during the day to pre-arrange your pick-up. Get another round with the money saved on taxi fares!

Fat Sams Nightclub

Level 1- The biggest level of the club with a fantastic sound system and atmosphere to match. Whether it’s chart hits, the latest R&B epics or the freshest Indie sounds you will find them all on Level 1.

Level 2- The original level of the club that has been with us all the way through our 25 year history, although it has had a few face-lifts along the way! Renowned for it’s legendary weekend dance nights and intimate gigs such as Babyshambles Level 2 is the perfect setting to your nights away from the text books.

Cocktail Bar- The quiet, pub-like area that branches off of Level 2 provides the perfect setting to become more acquainted with your fellow revellers. So if you feel the need to chill out during a night at Fatties the cocktail is perfect for you!

Level 3, The Karma Lounge- The newest of our 3 levels boasts a fantastic crowd of clubbers ready to shake it to some 70’s and 80’s classics. Head up to Karma and get your photo taken with one of our Buddhas. This area is also regularly hired by societies and sports clubs to be the venue to their parties, for further information contact 01382 228181.

VIP Bar- An invite only area for our more distinguished patrons, the all white lounge is the perfect setting for the more special evening. Management will invite guests to enter the lounge throughout the night so get the old prom suits and dresses on and you never know, you might be one of the selected few.

The latest edition to the Fat Sams empire, and Scotland’s newest contemporary live music venue, LIVE @ Fat Sams promises to bring you the very best in live music. Having already played host to the Pigeon Detectives, the Hoosiers and Biffy Clyro this year we are planning on continuing the Fatties tradition of showcasing some of the newest and most promising acts as well as a few old favourites.
